How the wait is worked out
Treatments carry their real length, which for a spa is the whole point: a sixty-minute massage and a ninety-minute facial should never share an estimate.

Capacity is held for booked clients rather than hoped for, and a slot nobody claims is released rather than left dark. Somebody who arrives hoping for a cancellation can wait on the list and be told honestly what their chances are, instead of sitting in reception on the off-chance.
